Double-bass clarinet

Sound Sample
This is an old double-bass clarinet from the French company Leblanc.

It is a very rare instrument, which sounds an octave lower still than the bass clarinet.
This instrument is very difficult to hook up to a microphone.

We found an idea solution here with the ingenious sound pick-up system from the Rumberger brothers in Prien on the Chiemsee. (www.rumberger-soundproducts.de)
